Other Peels

The exact formula of each chemical peel varies and is determined by Dr. John Park to meet your needs. Most peels incorporate a beta hydroxy acid that helps break down the outer layer of skin to produce smoother and brighter looking skin. Dr. Park most commonly performs TCA Peels which is a non-toxic chemical called trichloroacetic acid. It has been around for more than 20 years and when applied to the skin, it causes the outermost layer of skin to dry up and peel off (within 3-7 days). After the dead skin is all peeled away a new layer of undamaged layer of skin will appear, leaving a more youthful, beautiful, even tone and smoother texture.
