What is a Tummy Tuck?
A tummy tuck is known in surgical terms as abdominoplasty. It involves removing loose skin from the abdomen to make your stomach flatter and tighter. We can even remove stretch marks in your lower abdomen.
Unlike a full tummy tuck, a mini-tummy tuck leaves less of a scar. Instead of making an incision from hip to hip, we only make a short, horizontal incision across your lower abdomen. This is great for women who don’t have a lot of excess skin or fat around their belly and therefore don’t need a full tummy tuck.
Which Tummy Tuck Is Best for You?
It’s important to know that not every tummy is suitable for the mini tummy tuck. If you have a lot of excess skin that you can feel around your sides when you sit in a chair, you’re probably better off having a full tummy tuck. This is because we would have to make the incision all the way to the hip bone to remove that skin. We’ve had lots of women say that their confidence has skyrocketed after their tummy tuck.
