You have decided to move forward with breast augmentation surgery. That decision has been made. However, now there is another essential decision to be made, and this is a personal one. What size implant will you choose?
When it comes to deciding on breast implant size, there are some factors to be considered. Firstly, breast augmentation is not a “one size fits all” procedure. You may have decided that you want to increase your breast size two fold, however, hopefully, you have chosen a surgeon who will perform your surgery based on what is best for you, not on what you may have seen in a magazine.
Making the Right Implant Choice For Your Body
Breast implants are measured in cubic centimeters, abbreviated as cc. One cubic centimeter is the same as a milliliter. Implant sizes range from 120 ccs to 850 ccs. While many women might be tempted to opt for the 850 cc implants to go as big as possible, it’s wise to establish limits and consider long-term issues. Everyone has different body shapes, so an 850 cc implant may look out of proportion on your frame, especially if you are small and thin.
While you have to make the final decision – a highly qualified plastic surgeon will not perform a surgery that will not be ultimately good for your body and your health.
