08 Feb Procedures that Complement SculpSure
At John Park MD Plastic Surgery, experts offer the revolutionary SculpSure treatment. It’s a non-invasive, non-surgical alternative for targeted fat reduction. SculpSure uses laser therapy to pinpoint stubborn fat. The adipose tissue is heated to the ideal temperature to “melt” and become absorbed by the body. Slowly, the body will naturally eliminate the fat cell remnants. Most patients require three to four treatments within a one-month period and will start to see results within six weeks. However, it can take six months before full results are achieved.
SculpSure is the only laser fat-reduction tool on the market designed explicitly for larger areas. The thighs, flanks, abdomen, and back can be treated during one session. While sometimes beneficial, there’s often no need to come back for a separate session to “finish” treating larger body parts. SculpSure features a variety of attachments to customize each session. There’s even a smaller tool designed just for the troublesome under-the-chin area.
When diet and exercise fail or don’t work as well as they should, we can be left with stubborn pockets of fat. Fat cells can only be shrunk with diet and exercise-not eliminated. SculpSure allows for permanent removal of fat cells* in targeted areas safely. However, there are also a number of additional non-invasive procedures that can complement SculpSure, such as beautifying the skin itself.
Injectable fillers such as Botox and Dysport can temporarily “freeze” muscles that cause frown lines, fine lines, and wrinkles. Dermal fillers can also plump up areas of the face that have become hollow due to age, genetics, or weight loss. The lips, around the mouth, and below the eyes can particularly benefit from dermal fillers.
Chemical peels are ideal to remove the damaged outer layers of your skin, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, reduce pore size or help improve acne, reduce blemishes or even out pigmented skin tone. A variety of skin treatments to improve the quality of the skin are available at John Park MD Plastic Surgery.
